There is a matter at stake right now and it urgently begs for your undue attention. The little boys photo's that is uploaded on this thread, is going through a lot of pains. As a father that I am, I understand what this little boy is going through right now.


I know there are a lot of Media Attention to this case, but it doesn't seems to be enough. This is the No.1 forum in Africa and I think we can show the world how united we can be at times like this, when I saw another thread where the news first broke out this morning my time in NY. I swung into action, post a request on the former thread for Omonigho's fathers contact and luckily a Nairalander provided me with the much needed info. I called the Father, who was delighted that I called to show some concern. I did my part and sent him some doe chess, which I don't think is enough.






We went further to continue our conversation on Whatsapp where he sent me this photos, please I'm calling on every Nairalander home and in Diaspora to act now. Whatever we can raise for this child, whatever we can do to make sure this boy is alive and sound. Please let's do it right now, it could happen to anybody. I'm using my iPhone 4 so I can't really type very well on it, but in summary. I'm saying that we need your support, your contribution.   A woman was brutally murdered by a man, Taofik Adara, in Badagry after seeking spiritual help. The arrested suspect said he was paid N4000 by a herbalist to kill the woman.Adara, alias Kie-Kie, was paraded at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja. During his confession, he claimed that he chopped off the woman’s head with a cutlass given to him by his hirers. He added that the victim had been hypnotised by a native doctor before he killed her while two alfas (Islamic clerics) and a herbalist held her hands. Pregnant Woman Dies In Kano Hospital Over Payment Alerts Delay

  A pregnant woman in Kano, Shema’u Sani Labaran, has died in the Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital over alleged negligence from doctors as a result of the new naira policy crisis. The late woman’s husband, Malam Bello Fancy, said her death was as a result of delay in transfer made to the bank and that the doctors didn’t attend to his wife for more than three hours. Recall that the Kano State Government warned marketers, supermarkets and the public against rejecting old naira notes in the state, saying it would shut down and revoke the licence of any business enterprise found in the act. However, it was gathered from residents that some institutions, including government-owned, filling stations and marketers have been rejecting the old notes, including hospitals that battle with emergencies.
